National Science Foundation ATE Grant Funding and Mentoring Opportunities
The National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education program has grant funding opportunities available to support technical program development, professional development, career pathways, curriculum development, outreach activities and more in support of technician education.  The current NSF-ATE solicitation and some helpful resources will be reviewed.Participants will learn about how NSF-ATE grant funding opportunities can help them with their technician programs.
Participants will learn what activities qualify for NSF-ATE grants.
Participants will learn multiple categories of NSF-ATE grant funding.
Participants will learn about several NSF-ATE resources available to them.

PACE - The What, Why, and Who.
ACTE provides divisions for all levels of educators including Postsecondary Adult and Career Education (PACE).  Currently IACTE does not have an active PACE Division for its members.  During this session you will learn the benefits of adding a PACE division to Iowa and how you can be a part of it.
1. Learn about PACE and the benefits provided.
2. Overview of starting a PACE division in Iowa.
3. Develop networking connections within the state and throughout the country.
4. Learn of leadership opportunities available due to adding the division to IACTE
