Iowa ACTE Best Practices Conference 2021

Indian Hills Community College's Rural Iowa Photonics Education NSF project has the primary objective of increasing the number of Photonics Techs in the U.S.  This session will introduce lasers & optics to you and, hopefully, your students.  Content will include light, lasers, optics, safety, applications, career opportunities, etc.

The Laser & Optics Technicians demand is 10 times the supply.  The U.S. needs these techs.  A Photonics Fundamentals dual credit course was created for secondary school classes.  It has both virtual and live elements.  You can do it!
